Over our 10 months working together you definitely helped me improve on my 3 disciplines! I took 10 minutes off my best swim, nearly an hour off my best bike and approx 1hr30 overall on my PB. I also had done an awful lot more core work than I would have ever done. You definitely improved me all round! Coach Nadja is one of the most positive coaches I know. I understand the value of coaching, having been coached in business, life, and now athletics. One of the great things about Coach Nadja is that she is really in tune with your workouts and capabilities and adjusts to allow you to succeed. Her workouts are challenging and there is a learning curve, but once you get it, you will feel motivated to achieve as you get better and better. With Coach, I went from not being able to swim 50 yards to reaching 1.2 miles, the distance needed for the Half Iron Man. I endorse Coach Nadja, if you are trying to complete a Half Iron Man or just simply improve your fitness.

Five years ago at 260 plus pounds I took my very first fitness walk, joined a gym, and began my lifelong dream to be an athlete. At that time I was fortunate to have Nadja become my personal trainer. Our sessions were challenging, fun, and her high level of engagement motivated me to want to embrace and accept her every challenge. Her weekly training plans were methodical and immensely detailed. Nadja’s positive attitude and encouraging words filled me with the drive to continue my athletic journey. Shortly after that, I added running to my weekly protocol which Nadja coached me on. After several 5ks, 10ks, and two half marathons, I added swim and bike to my regiment and then took the enormous step to become a triathlete.
For the past 2 years Nadja has been my triathlon coach. As I knew they would be, her weekly triathlon training plans are exceptionally thorough and goal and objective oriented as is my annual training plan. Her timely and abundant feedback to my questions and all communication with me is another example of how dedicated Nadja is. In my first season I competed in four sprint triathlons. This season I’ll be competing in five sprint triathlons and my very first Olympic Distance triathlon. In a desire to become even more fit and healthy, in addition to being my triathlon coach, Nadja is now also my nutritional coach offering me weekly guidance and education in proper nutrition for athletes. I have lost approximately 90 pounds and at 170 pounds will continue until I reach my goal weight.
Nadja has taught me to celebrate my accomplishments whether big or small. She instills in me a sense of empowerment I never knew I had, to “Fight through” when I feel like I can’t take that next step on a run or pedal up the next big hill. Whether you are simply starting out in the adventure of exercise or you are a seasoned triathlete and are looking for a coach to help guide you along the way, look no further. Coach Nadja is the one that will lead you every step of the way making your goals and dreams a reality. I know, she has done and is doing those things for me.

Nadja was our head coach for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation’s Team Challenge half marathon training program for several events. Nadja continuously looked for new ways to make the training for her participants enjoyable and personal. She could train a large group of people of varying fitness levels from couch potatoes to advanced athletes and tailor the program to fit everyone. She went out of her way to create personal connections and help her participants meet their individual goals. Because of her coaching skills and obvious passion for her job, each person she coached crossed the finish line injury free and couldn’t help but acknowledge how far above and beyond Nadja went to get them there. I’d always wanted to compete in a triathlon, but was intimidated by the swim portion of the event. Working with Nadja gave me the confidence I needed to take the plunge! She put together a personalized training plan that taught me how to train smarter; helping me capitalize on my strengths and improve upon my weaker areas, all the while keeping me injury-free.
I found the training to be realistic and flexible enough that I could easily fit it into my daily routine. As a coach, Nadja was committed to helping me establish and attain my personal fitness goals, answered all of my training and equipment questions, and gave me many helpful hints for my first competitive sprint tri. By the time the race rolled around, I felt both physically and mentally prepared.
Competing in my first triathlon was an amazing experience! When I crossed the finish line I knew that I was hooked! I credit Nadja for helping to make my first experience with the sport such a positive one…it definitely won’t be the last!

Although it didn’t take much convincing to get me to agree to do a triathlon, I definitely needed all the help I could get. I needed direction and most importantly a plan. I had been going the gym and had even done a couple 5K’s in the past but I knew this was different. Nadja put together a training plan that worked around my strengths and weaknesses to get me prepared physically, as well as mentally for my first sprint triathlon.
Nadja was there for me every step of the way with her amazing knowledge, support and commitment. Never once did I feel overwhelmed by my workouts. I actually looked forward to each new challenge she gave me and I can’t believe how easily and smoothly the training went.
I can’t thank Nadja enough for how this has changed me physically and mentally. I’ve lost nearly 20lbs and now have a whole new outlook on exercise. I don’t have to work out, I WANT to work out.
After I crossed the finish line of my first triathlon, I told Nadja that I just couldn’t believe how amazing I felt and she said, “That’s why we do it”. Now I’m hooked. I have already planned for more sprints this year and can’t wait for that feeling again.
